Nice People...

A fine weather, and sunny day, everybody go out... some people prefer to reach their destination by walk instead of driving a car or taking the bus to enjoy the sun which was absent for the past few months, it's true, I usually do that when I see the sun, I get that feeling of a kid when he sees a chocolate cake with candles and parents singing "Happy Birthday". grown up in a city like Dubai where the winter is hotter than Sweden's summer made me realize that hell could be cold NOT hot!, who can survive Sweden's winter he can definitely enjoy hell!

I played "House and Trance" on my IPod while I took a walk going nowhere just aiming to enjoy the sunny day and to express my feeling to the sun, to say how much I missed you dear "sun", and it seemed to me that it's not only me who misses the sun but a lot of people do, actually everybody do but have a different feeling of expressing it, like that guy who is sitting on the bench topless and spreading his arms like if he needs to hug the sun...This is Love... or like that beautiful blonde with the bikini laying on the grass in the park and all her body parts are spread wishing if the sun is Vin Diesel...This is Romance...

The great fact about good weather psychology is that everybody turn to be nice, everybody stand in the crowded bus and let you sit down, and everybody smile at your face in the streets as if they know you and haven't seen you around for a very long time, you made them miss you, bad you! I honestly understand that there are nice people everywhere, but when all that happened to me in one day, taking in consideration the beautiful blonde who smiled innocently at my face, I realized that all happened because of the Sun! Because when they saw the sun, they decided to share the love with everybody.

Every time somebody show me his smile in a sunny day, I do smile back but I humble It’s the sun", it's like when you graduate you throw a party and suddenly you invite everyone, even your Ex who you hate the most. I am not complaining, but I just wondered, why when it's hot "especially in Sweden" people are Extra Nice? If we consider that hell is hot, so are there nice people in hell? Or was Buddha right when he said that Hell is the coldest place ever? Does it make the heaven hot? Where all the nice people are?

Sweden's winter is tough, and the summer is so nice, well, it seems like heaven and hell, but in a smaller scale, you get to see everything colorful in summer and dull in winter, even the people, they turn cold and no more smiles from the blondes, and it's dark all the time, and I also think that atheist believe in heaven and hell but in the smaller scale, so the guilty people should live in Siberia, and the good people should have a hut in Miami beach!

Having nice people around makes you feel happy and full of joy, at least it increases the chances of leaving home with a girl that is a way out of your league, and getting free shots from the bar tender "some times", it will also make you realize that in a fine weather, and a sunny day, everybody go out...and everybody is nice.

Green is the color...

Nowadays, the first thing I do when I wake up before even washing my face is to switch on my coffee machine with 1 spoon of Zoegas skånerost, and I have noticed that I'm obsessed about coffee, In fact, it's not only me I guess, but most of swedes are, because it has a great taste when drinking it on the balcony while enjoying the green landscaping view.

I have noticed lately that the green color is used everywhere in Scandinavian countries, and it has helped it in a way that made Denmark the happiest place on earth according to BBC News, and I totally believe it's because of the lifestyle, education, and the nature. Every time I see the view from my balcony I wonder how a person could not live so long if he sees this view every day!

Today, I have decided to go and have my coffee in my favorite place, Barista, and not to use my hard-working coffee machine, so I took the bus (green color) which is heading to the city center, and I started noticing how many people above 70 years old are available around, walking with the walkers, back bended, and really look old enough that will make me say "these people live long", well green color means life, and they were more than a football team in one bus!

Having my coffee in such a beautiful place, looking at these happy people dragged me into thinking about one major question, what is their problem? What can be their worst issue that they can't solve it? And how can they be so happy while most of them are not in a relationship? Does even a relationship considered to be happiness? or does they believe that "one hand really can clap"? And many other questions that kept hitting my head so hard that almost made me lose the sight of that beautiful blonde with that charming smile.

If Green means life, it also means Sex, well but that's contradicting because people can’t love life and dislike sex, its instinct and any normal, liberal person would do so, if they are hitting a large average of singles, how does Swedes get their sexual needs? It can’t be all in a "one night stand"! And you can't get the emotional needs in that unless you would like to hear the I Love You lie in a night stand! So where is my missing piece of the puzzle, damn it, I need to know or I won't sleep tonight!

 Happy people, smile and laugh, hi5 and dance, walking with pride, but i am sure that if I come closer and clean the mirror from the dust, I might see something that I might not really like, which I started to see it when I decided to, like that lady sitting on the other corner seemed a bit worry, what could be her problem? Not finding pink nail polish in the stores? But in fact not, they do have their own small problems and one big problem which are relationships.

In Sweden, they are really afraid of failing in a relationship, they don’t go forward and keep it always limited, like Sofi, the girl once was with for a 4 months period, and she didn’t even want to go 1 step forward and call me a boyfriend! Like being afraid of commitment, even if it was casual, thus, they complain about it, and Swedes nag every day and night of being single! So basically they have no major problem “War, famine, etc…”, and everything is extreme, so extreme beauty, extremely cold in winter, extremely hot in summer, and when they drink they do extreme stuff too.

Well, I guess, I’m not sure, but I think that's why they are happy!

Constructing a Life...

I was searching the internet when a picture of a tower that is under construction popped up with a title saying "Buy Apartment in Dubai", the picture was for a tower that is more than 30 stories surrounded by cranes and it’s still under construction, I lift my eyebrows and looked clearly at that building and it looked very familiar to me until I realized that I was living last year opposite to that tower when they were constructing the 10th floor, and it was shocking to see it almost done.

Technology, is meant to help people who is living on this earth to make their life easier by getting things done efficiently, cutting down time and cost, but I never thought that it would take a year to construct a 30 stories tower! Is it the Technology? Or the money that buys it? So if a person has a huge bank account; can he use the technology to make his things go easy and efficiently? Well can he construct a Life?

Being an Interior Design Engineer requires me to visit Construction Sites which definitely taught me that it has always been a matter of Time, Cost, and Quality when you have to get things done, and you can’t gain all of them, as well as in any thing you do in your life you will have to fall in this Triangle, like when you are in a rush of having a job, when you move to another country, or when you are trying to date Eva Mendes.

Since I have moved from Dubai to Sweden I realized that when it comes about constructing a tower it's definitely easier than constructing your own life, I mean you would calculate how much cement and sand you need, how many workers it will take, and what tools to use, knowing that any mistake "In most of the cases" Money will solve it, but in making a life money can't always cover errors, can't buy you love or friendship, and can't buy feelings for the desperate millionaire.

Having friends, Meet the right girl, having a decent job, something looks like a good life, is it really hard to accomplish in Sweden? Is it really difficult to have a good friend here? Is it difficult to construct a life in Sweden?

Few weeks ago, I met a person through a friend in a bar, well, before the night starts and tossing up glasses, he was totally sober and respectful, so he started explaining to me why Sweden is NOT like any other place in the world when it comes to having friends and dating, he summed it up in few words “We are not open to other races and cultures”, I saw that angle he is speaking from but I couldn’t find a proper reason for it, or such an explanation that will convince me, well I am concerned about life and relationships, and I like to be surrounded with many friends who really you can enjoy with, and I think most of the people want that, or at least what I read from discussion board in www.thelocal.se, where people complain of not finding themselves in Sweden, and having the Cost, but Not the Time or Quality…
